There Are About To Be 50 2017 Yenko Supercharged Camaros
Specialty Vehicle Engineering, also known as SVE, unveiled its latest 2017 Yenko Supercharged Camaro with an 800-horsepower engine upgrade! If this sounds like something you’ve just gotta have, well you better act fast because only 50 of these will be made and are expected to go quickly! Yenko Camaros were built between 1967-1969 by the Yenko Chevrolet dealership in Pennsylvania. The dealership closed its doors in 1982 but today, the New Jersey based company SVE, uses the classic Yenko name under license to modify modern Camaro’s, keeping the Yenko spirit alive and well.
The latest edition of the model is no joke. The 2017 Yenko Camaro leaves the 455 horsepower LT-1 engine for an insane 800HP Hellcat engine with 750 ft-lbs of torque. The engine also gets a forged steel crankshaft and H-beam rods, aluminum pistons, CNC ported and polished LT-1 cylinder heads, LT-4 fuel system and injectors, and a custom supercharger. Now that’s an upgrade! What’s the price of this monster of a Camaro you might ask? Well after the original price of the sixth-generation Camaro, an additional $40,000 will be added for the package itself. Not exactly cheap, but hey, that’s the price of performance right?
