This Car Is One Heck Of A ‘Rush’!

This week on PowerNation, along with hardcore tech from our shops, Katie’s featured ride is this gorgeous 1967 Chevelle SS called “Rush”. One of the builders, Chad Hill from Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle joins us to talk about the resto. Owner Bruno Guillu wanted a Pro Touring machine so they pulled the frame off the chassis and started from scratch and this one is all race with their Street Fighter series chassis. It’s got Ride Tech shocks on all 4 corners, a Mark 4 rear suspension, and a 550 horse Chevrolet Performance crate LSA engine with a Magnum 6 speed. It rolls on American Racing Wheels and Nitto Tires. That striking color is a Valspar Mitsubishi “Mazen Blue”. Chad’s specialty is design and he went through about 50 different white race stripe designs to get it right. The interior has black leather seats, a custom dash with an AutoMeter Gauges center pod, roll cage and custom console to handle the 6 speed. Check it out this week on PowerNation.
