Truck Driver Forgets Crane Is Raised, Destroys Intersection

Hope your Monday is going a little better than this guys. Nobody can be at fault for this one other than the driver. You’d think you would notice if the crane your truck is hauling was raised or not secured properly. But unfortunately for this guy, he didn’t.

The truck takes out power lines with no problem at all and then continues on to take out stoplights and road signs. The question is how did the driver not hear or feel something going on back there? Aside from the obvious structure damage, a few cars were hit with falling debris and the driver of the truck was charged with failure to secure a load.
