Truckla Is The World’s First – And Only- Tesla Pickup Truck

YouTuber Simone Giertz got tired of waiting for Tesla to release its pickup truck so she made her own.

She chopped up a Model 3 and turned it into what she calls the “world’s first functional Tesla” electric pickup. Giertz named her new ride “Truckla” and added a personalized California black plate to match. She had been planning a Tesla pickup build with artist/mechanic Marcos Ramirez before a noncancerous brain tumor returned and delayed the project for several months.



Giertz reports that Truckla is usable now as-is but will be fully drivable and finished in July once it receives additional waterproofing for the battery pack, a bed liner, final interior, bodywork, and paint.
