Trump Threatens To Hit Harley-Davidson With Taxes If It Moves Overseas
Surprised that Harley-Davidson, of all companies, would be the first to wave the White Flag. I fought hard for them and ultimately they will not pay tariffs selling into the E.U., which has hurt us badly on trade, down $151 Billion. Taxes just a Harley excuse – be patient! #MAGA

Harley-Davidson has been having a rough time lately. It’s no secret there’s been a decline in motorcycle sales as the younger generation strays away from buying them but now, however, Harley has a new problem to face.
Now the European Union has decided to target Harley for increased tariffs in response to Trump’s trade war. And in response to those EU tariffs, Harley has said it will move some bike production to Europe since it is a business after all and has to make money somehow. Of course, Trump had something to Tweet about it and decided to make his opinion public. the president had a lot to say about it. So here is the string of tweets from the Commander-in-Chief:
….When I had Harley-Davidson officials over to the White House, I chided them about tariffs in other countries, like India, being too high. Companies are now coming back to America. Harley must know that they won’t be able to sell back into U.S. without paying a big tax!

A Harley-Davidson should never be built in another country-never! Their employees and customers are already very angry at them. If they move, watch, it will be the beginning of the end – they surrendered, they quit! The Aura will be gone and they will be taxed like never before!

The question is, can you blame Harley? Gotta stay in business somehow…
