Uber Hired NASA Engineers To Develop Flying Cars

Uber and NASA are collaborating on a pretty big project. Flying cars. Bloomberg reported that Uber hired Mark Moore, an advanced aircraft engineer from NASA to work on the company’s flying car idea called Uber Elevate.

In work previously done by Moore, he found that flying cars might not be that far-fetched. The electric aircrafts could take off and land like helicopters but are smaller and quieter. These vehicles would be capable of providing a relatively fast alternative to the dreaded morning commute. These vehicles are obviously still a work in progress with issues like battery life and vehicle efficiency to work out. But what do you think about this? Flying cars…maybe in our lifetime?
