VW, Audi Update Logos To Help Encourage Social Distancing
Everyone is doing their part to encourage social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, from celebrities to automakers. VW and Audi are going so far as to temporarily revise their logos.
On the off chance you aren’t familiar with social distancing, it’s the practice of staying away from other people to help stop the spread of the virus. So both automakers have released logos with increased separation.
VW posted a video showing the “V” and “W” lifting apart and gave some words of encouragement saying we will all get through this together. Audi’s new logo has the iconic 4 rings separated instead of being interlocked.
So far, the automakers have posted the animations and logo images on various global consumer and media websites, as well as on social media.
