Watch The World’s Fastest Christmas Tree

Hennessey got in the Christmas spirit this year by seeing how fast a Christmas tree will go while strapped to the roof of a 2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Widebody! What’s your guess?

They headed out to the Continental Tire Proving Grounds in Uvalde, Texas with the Hellcat and a tree. That’s the same place where HPE ran the first Mustang to 200+ mph with Jay Leno in 2015)and first Gen6 Camaro to 200+ mph in 2016.

The 2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Widebody that they ran was 100% stock and put out 707 bhp. Top speed with a suction cup roof rack and no Christmas tree was 177 mph. When they added the Christmas tree it slowed to 174 mph.

Brian Smith, director of the Ford Performance Racing School and driver of the world’s fastest convertible (the 265 mph Venom GT), was behind the wheel.
