Women Stop Traffic With Road Rage Brawl
Another out of control case of road rage. This time, in Danvers, Massachusetts.
Both a 64-year-old woman and a 33-year-old woman will face charges of assault and battery and disorderly conduct. The younger woman will also face battery on a person older than 60 or disabled person with injury, disorderly conduct, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, stopping on a state highway/parking and assault.
The conflict was caught on tape by a fellow motorist as it stopped traffic on Route 128 south. State police said witnesses called to report the incident as the two women began having a physical altercation while standing on the roadway outside their vehicles.
State police said the women were gone by the time troopers arrived.
“This could have been a lot worse,” police said. “This obviously had the potential to turn into serious injuries. They stopped traffic. They literally stopped in the middle of Route 128… that could have led to a crash or them getting struck,” police said.
