You Can Now Put Ford’s ‘Godzilla’ V8 In Anything As A Crate Engine
Ford’s 2020 F-250 Super Duty pickup won’t be the only vehicle housing the “Godzilla” V8 anymore. The automaker is now making it available as a crate engine for anything you can fit it in.
The engine was originally debuted on the F-Series Super Duty with 430 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque, which makes it the highest horsepower motor in the segment.
You can find the engine on Ford’s parts website for $8,150, which includes intake and throttle body, exhaust manifolds, oil pan/cooler, ignition coils, and wires, flex plate, a shipping and storage cradle and lift brackets.
